Stoke boss Hughes frustrated by Martins-Indi deal

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes admits that the club have not made progress in their pursuit of signing Bruno Martins Indi.

Martins Indi's parent club Porto seem unwilling to engage in negotiation for the defender and manager Mark Hughes has now revealed his frustrations at not being able to get the deal through.

Hughes said: "Well, that's one that where we've had a little bit of frustration. With all transfers you need all parties to agree and at the moment we can't get everything in place and in a line enough to move forward.

"There's a little bit of frustration there. Clearly Bruno had a good year last year and enjoyed his time here. There's a feeling from him that he wanted to continue his time here but at the moment there is a bit of an impasse unfortunately."
