Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is looking forward to their trip to Crystal Palace.
Fans there possessed a passion that was exacerbated even further when Tony Pulis was manager and cheerleader between November and May last season.
"It's a great atmosphere down there," Hughes agrees. "It's a difficult place to play as a player and it hasn't changed since I became a manager.
"In the last couple of years after promotion the atmosphere seems to have gone up a notch - and that atmosphere is important.
"We get the benefit of it here at the Britannia and when you need help, it seems that Palace fans can get behind their team."
