Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is unconcerned over Roma links for Xherdan Shaqiri.
Hughes was keen to point out that Shaqiri, despite his lengthy and impressive CV before Stoke City, is not above taking advice and not above wanting to improve his game.
“When you engage with Shaq," he disclosed, “he hangs on your every word and he's fully focused.
“He wants to understand what I want from him and what his team-mates want. He's focused on getting better as a player. He's still a young man, there's plenty of development to come and we want that development to be here.
“There's always elements of his play he can improve on whether it be form or the technical side.
“But there's no suggestion he's been unsettled by this talk."
