Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has dismissed claims that his side are currently facing a crisis following another defeat.
The Potters have slipped into 17th place in the Premier League table following a very disappointing 2-1 defeat against Bournemouth at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday but despite their precarious position, Hughes has denied claims that his side are currently going through a crisis.
Hughes said: "They (fans) are a little bit anxious at the moment and I can understand that. I think they are realistic as well and know that it's a difficult league.
"They should have confidence in the group of players we have. We are a good set. They have a management team that has been in these situations before and been successful, so I don't think they need to worry.
"It's about letting good people get on with their jobs and coming through these periods. It's not a crisis in my view. We are in a situation in terms of league position, but we do have good games coming up. We'll be fine."
