Stoke boss Mark Hughes has been discussing the dismissal of Roberto Martinez at Everton, and effectively ruling himself out as a possible replacement.

"I feel sorry for Roberto Martinez, who is a really engaging guy. Unfortunately for him, they have decided to go in a different way.

"I'm one of the more experienced managers in the Premier League so maybe it isn't surprising to see my name up there, but I'm more than happy here and am looking forward to next season. We've a lot of good things going on and my job certainly isn't finished."
