Stoke boss Hughes confident completing summer market plans

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes is quietly confident of soon completing his summer market campaign.

The Potters are in the hunt for another striker and winger, while several fringe players are expected to head out the exit door.

The manager told The Sentinel: "We are still actively in the market for players. I think we can bring a little bit more quality to the group.

"It's not a given because transfers between players and clubs is a difficult process, but we are trying very hard to add to the good group we've already got and the good players we've been able to bring in so far this summer.

"Inevitably, as we bring more players in, others will feel maybe their opportunities will be even more limited and think it is time to move on. That's a consequence of football, so I imagine there will be ins and outs."
