Stoke City boss Mark Hughes has made a late bid for Fenerbahce winger Nani.

The Mirror says Hughes has launched a last-ditch bid to hijack Nani's £7million move to Valencia.

Former Manchester United star Nani is lined up to make a switch from Fenerbahce to the Mestalla after the La Liga outfit triggered a get-out clause in the Portuguese winger's contract.

But Stoke boss Hughes has steamed in with a dramatic late move to bring Nani, 29, back to the Premier League.
