Leeds United are keen on Stoke City striker Peter Crouch.

Potters boss Mark Hughes has confirmed that Leeds were one of a number of clubs to enquire about Crouch, but insisted he did not want him to go.

"Peter is one that we want to keep here," he said. "He's not long signed a new contract.

"Came on, played a part in midweek, so he's still very much part of what we're doing here."
