Stoke City boss Mark Hughes admits he may have to sell to buy in January.
Hughes concedes he may have to sell to boost his January transfer kitty, but insists that does not mean he has to cash in on keeper Asmir Begovic, who has been linked with Manchester City.
"We might have to be a little bit creative, but there are ways to do that," said the Welshman. "If we do go into the market, we have to get players who can help us immediately.
"I don't need squad players, I've got plenty of them. It's not a numbers game, it's a quality game."
