Stoke City boss Mark Hughes admits he's spent the week scouting on the continent.

Hughes was spotted by eagle-eyed fans at a local airport this week.

"I might have been busy this week," was all Hughes would offer.

"We are coming up to January and if there's an opportunity to try to bring players to the club, then you've got to get off your backside and have a look."
