Stoke boss expects Shaqiri, Cameron, Whelan to be fit for Everton

Stoke manager Mark Hughes is expecting three of his key players to be available on Monday night.

The Potters take on Everton at Goodison Park after beating Manchester United 2-0 on Boxing Day.

Star playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri and central midfield duo Geoff Cameron and Glenn Whelan came off at half-time or in the second half at the Britannia Stadium but have all been given a chance of proving their fitness for the trip to take on the Toffees.

Hughes told Stoke Player: "Xherdan will be okay and Geoff had a little bit of tightness, but we are hopeful that he will be okay in time for the game on Monday.

"Glenn felt his calf a bit at half-time so we took him off. It was the right thing to do."
