Newcastle United's interest in Mevlut Erding has cast doubt on the future of Andy Carroll.
The Daily Mail says Newcastle have failed in a £5million bid to sign Paris Saint-Germain striker Mevlut Erding.
The Magpies have been told to up their offer if they want to land the 23-year-old as a potential replacement for Andy Carroll, who is wanted by Birmingham and Stoke City.
