Stoke City are expected to bid for Middlesbrough defender Chris Riggott.

Asked about his future plans, the 27-year-old answered: "I have got a bit of thinking to do and I will have a few chats with the important people and let's see.

"I really don't know if Saturday was my last game for Boro. There is no point in talking about what might happen.

"I really don't know what the future holds. We will have to have a chat and see what is what."

One thing that could help Stoke's cause is the fact that Riggott has been able to live in his hometown of Derby while playing for Stoke.
