Stoke City boss Tony Pulis may have to make do with one out of two in his raid on Tottenham.
The Mirror says Stoke are in talks with Tottenham midfielder Wilson Palacios about a £10m move.
However, landing his Spurs team-mate Peter Crouch as part of a £20m double deal is proving tricky, as Everton are also in the picture for the England striker.
