Stoke and Newcastle send scouts to watch French fourth tier teenager

According to a report published by The Sun, Premier League sides Stoke City and Newcastle have sent scouts to monitor the progress of French fourth tier whizz kid Nordine Ibouroi.

After a series of impressive performances, the 19-year-old has got many European clubs heading to non-League Stadiums to try and sign him from FC Martigues.

The spotlight on Ibouroi increased last month after he fired home a spectacular goal against Monaco's reserve team. Other clubs that have been reported to be interested in Ibouroi include Niort and Saint-Etienne as well as Bundesliga bottom side Cologne.

The performances of Ibouroi have led to him being called up to the Comoros Islands national team. He also however holds French citizenship and this will make moving to a European club easier. Judging by the way in which Ibouroi is progressing, it is only a matter of time before a bigger club snaps him up.
