Stoke agree Fulop fee with Sunderland

Stoke City are a step closer to landing Sunderland goalkeeper Marton Fulop.

BBC Radio Stoke says Stoke have agreed a fee with Sunderland for the Hungary international.

The Hungarian international spent less than a week on loan at the Britannia Stadium last February.

The Potters had a bid of £1.7m rejected last month but have put in an improved offer for the 24-year-old.

Manager Tony Pulis has been chasing a new keeper after failing to sign Liverpool's Scott Carson, despite agreeing a fee.
