Saido Berahino has taken a giant step towards leaving West Bromwich Albion, according to reports.
It is believed that Stoke City have agreed a £16million fee with Albion for the 22-year-old striker who has been hanging for a move away from The Hawthorns for some time.
The Sun reports that the Potters have offered Berahino around £70,000 per week to leave the West Midlands for the Britannia Stadium and the deal is believed to be on the verge of being complete.
Berahino was being linked with a potential exchange deal with West Ham United which would have involved Diafra Sakho, but it appears as though a shift to Staffordshire is now on the cards as Mark Hughes prepares to make his first signing of the summer.
