Stoke City have accepted a bid from Manchester United for Lee Grant.

The Mirror says Jose Mourinho is set to make goalkeeper Grant his third summer signing in a £1.5million move from Stoke.

Manchester United have agreed a fee with Stoke for Grant and the former Derby and Sheffield Wednesday stopper is due to have his medical this week.

Mourinho has made the surprise move for Grant to provide cover for David De Gea and Sergio Romero.

He wanted an experienced goalkeeper because he plans to send Joel Pereira out on loan and let Sam Johnstone leave.
