Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic has denied claims he lasted barely an hour in his trials at Everton.

"I'm not a trouble maker," he told Antenna One. "Everything went fine, I didn't have any problem.

"I stayed there for three days, trained three times, once with the goalkeeping coach and twice with the rest of the team, and the coach praised me.

"What I've read in the Portuguese press is wrong. I'm not someone who creates problems.

"Let's make things clear, Sporting are my club. I never had any problem with coaches and with everybody I've been working with, besides I'm considered a leader."
