Stojkovic agent confirms Everton trials

The agent of Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic has confirmed trials with Everton.

The Serbian has returned to his homeland in order to secure a visa to allow him to link up with the Everton squad on Monday.

Reports in Portugal claim that Sporting have agreed to allow Stojkovic to spend the coming season at Goodison Park.

There is also an option for Everton to sign the keeper on a permanent basis for a fee of 3million euros (£2.4million).

Stojkovic's agent Zoran Stojadinovic says it is now down to the player to impress Everton boss David Moyes in training next week.

If Moyes is happy with Stojkovic's showing on trial, then everything is in place for the temporary move to be finalised.

Stojadinovic told Maisfutebol: "If the coach Moyes gives the OK, then all the details will be done."
