Hristo Stoichkov says Real Madrid whiz Marco Asensio should be a Barcelona player.

And there's no doubt in Stoichkov's mind who is to blame for Barcelona not beating rivals Real Madrid to the signature of Asensio.

The Bulgarian was especially offended by the way the Camp Nou squandered the chance to have Asensio in their ranks when he was still a Mallorca player.

During a televised debate on Univision after the Supercopa de Espana, he laid the blame squarely on the shoulders of the current board, citing their incompetence at letting him slip through their fingers.
