Stockport have signed Everton goalkeeper John Ruddy and Manchester City fullback Shaleum Logan on month-long loan deals.

Ruddy returns for his second spell with the Hatters and is likely to start against Accrington on Saturday as fellow stopper Conrad Logan serves a suspension.

The 21-year-old, who moved to Everton from Cambridge in May 2005, has enjoyed several loan periods at different clubs including Chester, Wrexham and Bristol City but most noticeably his 11 appearances at Edgeley Park.

Logan also goes straight into Jim Gannon's squad for the trip to Lancashire. The 19-year-old has already had spells with Scunthorpe and Grimsby this season.
