Stockport County are making an ambitious move for off contract Blackburn Rovers striker Benjani Mwaruwari.
The Daily Mail says Stockport are trying to talk former Blackburn striker Benjani, 32, into signing for them.
Benjani has been offered a contract by Blackburn but has been training with friend Didi Hamann's club to stay fit.
The Zimbabwe international was unhappy with terms offered by Rovers earlier this summer.
