Sunderland coach Robbie Stockdale has assured fans they're working hard to land their transfer targets.

The Black Cats remain the only top flight side yet to make any signings with the new campaign less than a fortnight away.

"We've obviously been looking, and the manager will have his targets," Stockdale told the Sunderland Echo.

"I think over the next couple of weeks, hopefully before the start of the season, we will add to the squad to help the players in it.

"We've been watching videos of players, we have scouting reports, so we are always on the case."
