Still no Juventus comment on Man Utd target Pogba

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri is continuing to play a staunch defence against any Paul Pogba rumours.

The French midfielder is still being heavily linked with a world-record £100million move to former club Manchester United but Allegri remains protective of his player, batting away any questions from the Australian press following the Bianconeri's International Champions Cup clash with Melbourne Victory.

"I'm not willing to talk about transfer market news," he said at the post-match press conference at the MCG.

"We just played a game tonight so right now I cannot answer.

"I'm not sure what happened during the last day in regard to the transfer market so once again, I would prefer to have questions about the game."

For the record, five-in-a-row Serie A champions Juventus drew 1-1 with A-League giants the Victory after a stunning goal from Juve defender Carlos Blanco Moreno and quality equaliser form Melbourne's Jai Ingham.

The Victory edged the Old Lady 4-3 in a penalty shootout to decide the eventual winner.
