"I think, with a club of this stature, we should not be sitting with two points in the league - but we are," said the former Manchester United player. "We have to face up to that, we have asked questions of each other in terms of are we doing enough?
"I think there is a lot of us that can't say we have done enough. It's only natural questions are going to be asked when we have put in poor performances.
"I think amongst ourselves we feel as if we have not given enough and I think that's criminal at times.
"The questions have been asked and the only way you can answer it is out on the park. You can talk about it as much as you want on the training ground but it's going onto the park and making sure you are doing the right things."
