Steve Gohouri has welcomed rumours of a Premier League return.

The former Wigan Athletic defender currently plays for Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv but has been linked with a move to Reading or Southampton.

"I've always loved the Premier League, the fans and the stadiums are great," said Gohouri.

"At the moment I feel well in Israel but you never know.

"I have great memories at Wigan, where we had a brilliant chairman. My first year was fantastic, the second year was a bit difficult, but I love the life there."
