Stevan Jovetic insists Manchester City do not need to buy a new striker. He believes they can get a striking upgrade simply by giving him a run in the team.
"The City fans have not seen the best of me," he said. "Nowhere near. I have scored five goals so far and I am capable of scoring a lot more.
"With the injuries we have, I might get a run of games in the team. If that happens they will see what I can do.
"I just want to stay healthy now. If I can do that then I can promise them that I am a much better player than they have seen so far.
"There will be speculation about new strikers coming here. I can't speak for Sergio and Edin, but that doesn't make me feel under any more pressure.
"I am not thinking about what will happen in the transfer window."
