Fiorentina striker Stevan Jovetic is delighted with his recent run of games.

"I am particularly happy with my last two matches," Jovetic told Calciomercato.

"I heard the fans applauding me when I left the pitch against Cagliari and I want to thank them.

"I am playing in the right position next to Alberto Gilardino and I think that is the best role for me.

"The absence of Adrian Mutu is giving me the chance to play more regularly, so that I can convince Cesare Prandelli to use me more often next year."
