Raheem Sterling says Liverpool must regroup after defeat to Chelsea.
The midfielder admits Chelsea proved their class at Anfield.
Sterling told the Liverpool Echo: "We need to get going after the international break and start winning games to turn this around. Losing hurts, especially losing a big game at home. Every team goes through sticky patches but I'm sure we'll start climbing the table soon.
"I think there were points in the game when it looked like we would nick a point or even win the game. I thought we played well at times and in patches we produced the kind of football needed to win.
"But Chelsea showed why they are top of the league. When they got chances they were clinical and they defended for their lives. That's something we need to do - we need to be clinical because that helps you to win games.
"I do think we are playing better football and I'm sure we'll soon put together a run of wins. We've got to pick ourselves up, regroup and go again after the international break."
