Sterling confident Liverpool deal will be worked out

Liverpool youngster Raheem Sterling has given a clearer indication that he is set to sign a new contract with the club.

The 20-year old is out of contract in the summer of 2017 but the Reds are determined to tie him down to an extension in a bid to ward off interest from the likes of Real Madrid.

Sterling was reportedly recently offered a stunning deal to remain at Anfield but is yet to put pen to a new contract, however, he suggests that things will naturally take care of themselves.

"I speak to my representative every day and he has told me to concentrate on playing football and he and the club will deal with it," said Sterling.

"Hopefully it will be done soon. I'm focused on winning games and trying to do my best for this football club."
