Mile Sterjovski was on target but could not prevent Derby County from going down 3-2 to Wolverhampton in the Championship. The Australian forward put the Rams a goal ahead in the 55th minute with a well-taken shot into the top corner after Wolves' Andrew Keogh opened up the game in the 7th minute then Derby equalised through Przemyslaw Kazmierczak in the 30th minute.
However, the home side could not contain the Wolves attackers and Matthew Jarvis managed an equaliser before Keogh added his second and the eventual winner three minutes from time.
Sterjovski was substituted soon after but his replacement could not muster any chances.
