Stephane Mbia rescued Sevilla with a late equaliser in their 2-2 draw at Europa League opponents Rijeka.

The defending champions were unbeaten in the group stage last year and things looked to be following a familiar pattern when Iago Aspas put them ahead in the 26th minute.

But Thimothee Kolodzieczak's red card five minutes into the second half set them back, Andrej Kramaric and Zoran Kvrzic both on target before Mbia snatched a point at the death.
