Guglielmo Stendardo has urged Lazio fans to stick with the team after last night's 1-0 defeat at home to Fiorentina.

The experienced defender said: "Fiorentina didn't dominate Lazio. We matched them.

"We need the club to now be united. We have a great institution here and I hope we can all stick together to get ourselves out of this situation.

"In three days we return to the pitch again and that's ideal for us. I am optimistic because I believe in the quality of this team and the players here. We must bounce back immediately."
