"It wasn't easy to get a result against a team that plays as well as Cagliari," Stendardo admitted. "They have made a lot of big teams suffer this season and they don't have 37 points by chance.
"We fought until the end. Honestly, it wasn't possible to do anymore than we did. In the first half we defended well, limiting their attacks.
"Then their opening goal forced us to open up and push forward. Now we have 14 finals to dispute with great passion," Stendardo added.
"We'll look to win even when we play bad. On Sunday, we'll have Lazio in front of us. I can assure the fans we'll do everything to end this negative period."
