AZ Alkmaar defender Gretar Steinsson is delighted to be joining Bolton Wanderers.

The Iceland international is moving to the Trotters for £2.5 million and said: "This is a great opportunity.

"Bolton are a great club, where many Icelanders have already played."

Steinsson has agreed a three-year deal with the option of another year.
