Stefano Pioli admits Fiorentina need to get players in quickly.

The new coach was speaking after their friendly draw with Bari.

He stated: “It's clear that we have to give our best. The fans need players who see Fiorentina as their pinnacle and not a stepping stone.

“We have a shirt to defend. We've lost some important players, but they were no longer motivated to play for us.

“We have to make changes, we can't hang around. Within 15 days? I hope so, but the dynamics don't only depend on us.

“We're working on multiple fronts, and the club are working hard to fill these shortcomings.

“If the players that come in know the Italian League, that will definitely be an advantage. Our objective is to be ready on August 20."
