“I feel important for this club and I have a contract," the Italy international told Sky Sport Italia.

“I never said that I wanted to leave, or any of the other stuff that has been written about me over the last three or four months.

“I have always been happy and can't do anything about other people writing these stories. It was all done by the papers, but it's not a problem for me."
