Inter Milan star Dejan Stankovic says his wonder goal against Genoa yesterday was a fluke!

Stankovic struck an amazing volley from the centre-circle to score in Inter's stunning 5-0 win at title rivals Genoa.

But he laughed afterwards: "My goal from the centre circle? I was lucky, I accidentally hit the clearance well and then the rest we have seen what happened. More than for the goal, however, I am happy with the result.

"To win 1-0 at a field would be difficult and is an excellent result, to win 5-0 is a real triumph."

Stankovic added: "The championship is very long, however, we sent an important message to our competitors."
