Dejan Stankovic says Inter Milan showed great patience to defeat Sampdoria on Sunday.
Inter won 2-0 against a stubborn Samp.
Stankovic said: "Sampdoria created a couple of chances, but we never gave up.
"In the end it was a battle against time for us to score but then the goals arrived.
"The side, with patience, responded well from the first minute until the last on a very heavy pitch. We came away with a great victory."
