Inter Milan midfielder Dejan Stankovic cannot see Jose Mourinho returning to the club.
The Real Madrid coach has been linked with Leonardo's job.
But Stankovic said: "I am realistic, therefore I believe the Scudetto is now impossible. I also think all this talk of Mourinho's return is almost impossible too.
"We must focus on carrying on with Leonardo, because there is a season still in the balance. If we reach the Champions League and hopefully win another trophy, then it can be considered a positive campaign.
"There are regrets about the League, as we did so much to reach the derby in a strong position. Still, you cannot criticise a team that has won everything in recent years."
