Standard Liege striker Milan Jovanovic is on the brink of agreeing a Bosman move with Valencia.

Valencia tabled a three-year deal to the Serb's representatives last week and he is close to accepting terms.

Jovanovic's agent, Zoran Stojadinovic, said: "Milan thinks that his playing characteristics are suited wonderfully to a team like Valencia.

"This week will be decisive."
