Standard Liege's Congo star Dieudonne Mbokani is in Blackburn Rovers sights.

The News of the World says Mbokani has scored 34 goals in 69 games in the Belgian League and featured in Standard's Champions League defeat against Arsenal.

Reports in Belgium claim Blackburn have watched the 23-year-old play twice recently.

But Standard are not keen to lose a player they regard as the best goalscorer in the country.
