Stabaek midfielder Pontus Farnerud says he is interested in a potential move to Major League Soccer.
The 31-year old Swede admits his time in Norway is coming to an end and would like to explore new opportunities, telling mobil.tv2.no that the US is a possibility.
"Should there be something new and different and I will do something I have not been on before," said the former Sporting, Strasbourg and Monaco man.
"Nothing is clear, but I look at different options. I've gotten older and will see if there's something interesting outside of Scandinavia. I am closing no doors, and I like it fine here in Stabæk. But I look first and foremost, to see if there's something else that interests me.
"Should there be something new and different, maybe look a little farther away. United States or any other side," he concluded.
