St Patrick's Athletic winger Kevin Fahey is ready to return to the Premiership.

Former Arsenal trainee Fahey said: "At the start of the year we would have looked at us competing on four fronts and would have looked at possibly winning one or maybe two. We fell away in everything and I'm gutted.

"I would like to move on. I don't think I can do any more at Pat's," he went on. "Again, I am majorly disappointed that I haven't won a medal. But I would like to move on if someone comes across."

West Ham, Sunderland, Reading and Derby County have all been linked with a move Fahey though it is understood that no official bid has been made at this stage.

He continued: "There is speculation and I know as much as you. There are a couple of things going on. Hopefully something will happen towards the transfer window."
