St Mirren snap up Cowdenbeath striker McQuade

St Mirren have signed 23-year-old striker Paul McQuade on a two-year deal from Cowdenbeath, the Buddies' official website has confirmed. Saints boss Danny Lennon, who joined St Mirren earlier this month, returned to his former club to capture the Kirkcaldy-born forward who began his career with Dunfermline Athletic before moving to home town team Raith Rovers in 2004.

Lennon has already taken defender Darren McGregor and his assistant Iain Jenkins from Central Park.
