St Mirren boss Gus MacPherson is keen for his team to get used to their new £15million stadium ahead of the first game on 31st January. Their current stadium on Love Street in Paisley will host its last two Clydesdale Bank Premier League games over the festive period.
"Everyone is very excited about it, we are all looking forward to getting down here on a day-to-day basis and familiarise ourselves with the surroundings," MacPherson said.
"The most important aspect for me is the playing surface and it's top class.
"We are all looking forward to getting some training sessions and bounce games on it and they can familiarise themselves to it.
"They have got to know what they are coming into before the first game on January 31 against Kilmarnock, so we will get down here as much as we can.
"We will try to get the players down in the next couple of weeks and they can have a look round, and also get some work done."
