St Mirren loan signing Conor Newton is unsure of his future at Newcastle United.

Newton says he's improved since moving to the Buddies.

"My contract is up at the end of this season. Maybe there will be a new deal at Newcastle," Newton told the Scottish Sun. "I don't know. I have not heard anything yet but I will have to see what the future brings.

"If I didn't stay at Newcastle, I'd maybe consider staying at St Mirren or another Scottish club."
