St Mirren have grabbed a second win on the trot thanks to a 3-2 victory over Aberdeen at St Mirren Park last night.
Michael Higdon followed up his weekend hat-trick against Hamilton by netting the opener after just six minutes with a sweetly timed half-volley from just inside the area to make it 1-0.
The scoreline remained that way until early in the second half when the visitors hit back with some help from Buddies midfielder Hugh Murray who unfortunately got the last touch from an angled Chris Maguire shot.
St Mirren soon had their second when Craig Dargo slotted home with ease in the 57th minute before it was 3-1 with just over 20 minutes left thanks to Steven Thompson's finish from a nice Dargo cut-back.
The Dons were able to score for a second time when Robert Milson lashed home from 25 yards but they could not find a leveler in stoppage time to extend their losing streak to three and their winless run to five.
