St Mirren are reviving their interest in Newcastle United striker Adam Campbell.

The Journal says St Mirren, who made such a positive impact on the career of Paul Dummett, are keen to take Campbell on loan.

Campbell endured a frustrating - and short - spell at Carlisle United earlier in the season and is another who needs first team football to improve his chances of making an impact in the Newcastle first team.
